Little Mermaid!

Well, I just finished this little number for my baby cousin's baby! :)

I think my brother's former doll, Bruce, looks quite handsome in this little ensemble. ;)

On another note, I'm working my tail off right now! Lots of Etsy orders, and some custom orders for things like a sewn grocery cart cover, and a South Carolina Gamecocks hat. Beebs, if you're reading this, I told you I'd turn traitor at some point. It's our personality type. haha (PS - If you think you know who it's for, DON'T SPILL THE BEANS! It's a SURPRISE!)

Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee!

So, here's the second in a series of photography props! A baby bumblebee, complete with stinger. :)

I'm just sort of guestimating size. I need to borrow somebody's newborn! :) Anyone? Anyone?

Little Ladybug!

Well, I finally got around to making some photo props. Here's my first creation. :)

The ladybug drape is actually pretty small, like preemie size, because I was running out of red yarn. haha!

I think it turned out really cute! By the way, my model is an original Cabbage Patch doll, circa 1985 or so. Hopefully my brother doesn't mind my use of him in this manner. ;)

Sew Vintage: Sassy Lady: Bandana Fashions!

Okay, so this isn't quite as vintage as lots of my other items, but it is HILARIOUS. :)

This is the 1988 booklet, "Sassy Lady! Bandana Fashions!" This book is ready to use with complete step by step instructions for 4 skirts, 3 tops, 1 slip, 5 belts, and 2 collars. You can make little numbers like the peplum top, the concho belt, the willie belt, the braided belt, the sassy lady collar, the flirt skirt, the casual top, the sailor collar, the warp belt, the classy skirt, the sweatshirt, the jean skirt, and the traditional skirt. Well worth the $4.99, wouldn't you say!?!?

Honey Do: Toddler Girl Dress

Hey guys, sorry I've been so slack in posting lately! I've been so busy and without my mojo for a bit. ;) Anyway, I'm back!

I saw this adorable dress on Pinterest and figured I'd add it to my Honey Do list. I think it would be fairly simple to make! What do you think?
